The building has been serving the local community since 1893 & looks to continue this tradition.

We have a Safeguarding Policy & Equal Opportunities Policy; to view please click on each one.

 

THE INSTITUTE WELCOMES YOU

You can hire a hall or the whole building for your party or dance, talk, exhibition or sale. Contact the Booking Secretary, Christine Callery. If you have ideas for using the building, starting a new activity, or reviving an old one, we want to hear from you.

Help is needed with building related matters at the Village Institute.

Are you interested in helping to maintain this historic building? We need a volunteer to help with small maintenance jobs (we use local trades people for anything more substantial). We are also in the early stages of planning some refurbishment/redecorating, and would value help liaising with trades people. Time commitment to suit.
